Supporting Your Recovery from Start to Finish

Come to a presentation by Jack Weaver, Partner at Welty, Weaver, and Currie. There’s so much to think about after fires have upended your life, but it can feel overwhelming just figuring out where to start. Whether your family lost its home, or your business has been disrupted, Welty, Weaver, and Currie will provide information to guide and support you throughout the recovery process from start to finish.

Topics
• How to properly submit a claim for Additional Living Expenses (ALE). What’s covered, how to document it, etc.
• Dealing with smoke damage claims: Tips and pitfalls to avoid. Ensuring your claim is complete and ensuring the clean-up only has to occur one time.
• Making commercial claims and business interruption claims.
• Complete loss of your home or business: First steps, dealing with insurance adjusters and maximizing claims.
• Recovery for landscape damage and other structures (sheds, garages, fences etc.)
• Uninsured losses and how to handle them.
