Sonoma Clean Power is the local electricity provider serving Sonoma and Mendocino counties. As a Community Choice Aggregation (CCA), SCP purchases and generates electricity on behalf of residents and businesses while PG&E continues to deliver power, maintain infrastructure, and provide billing services. Governed by local elected officials, SCP was created to give communities greater control over their energy future by offering cleaner electricity choices, competitive rates, and innovative customer energy programs. Through investments in renewable energy, fighting for lower electric rates, and local energy solutions, SCP works to improve energy affordability and adapt to a changing climate.
